The Council is administered by a board of seven directors chosen by and amongst representatives of the CDAQ members. Also on the board, but without voting rights, are representatives from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ). The Board of Directors oversees CDAQ’s general administration and looks after the development and implementation of programs.
