Through this program, agricultural producers have access to a goose scaring service that integrates in a complementary manner to the strategic approach concerning sustainable integrated Great Snow Goose management. It allows for the reduction of damages caused by passing geese through controlling the occupation of agricultural lands by scaring activities. The available funds come from Growing Forward, a federal-provincial-territorial initiative, and represent a total of $686,000 until 2013.
